Free Radicals away day

Free Radicals is a growing group of academics across 4 Universities, working with experienced ‘others’, and intent on thinking differently about answers to key world problems.

“So with deliberate and brave collision of these diversely disciplined minds, they have begun to broker ideas and attempt the solutions; in the first instance, on the theme of the democratisation of water.
With intellectual generosity, the Free Radical members have started this process. They will share these beginnings at The Free Radicals CLASH on November 20th at London College of Fashion.”

Professor Helen Storey - June 2009

“For the world to right itself, some of us may have to agree to go backwards, in order that others can move forwards”

Professor Tony Ryan OBE, Pro-Vice Chancellor Faculty of Science, University of Sheffield

“Free Radicals gives me space away from my day-to-day business (email postman) to have ideas - ideas that may actually make a difference.
In this Free Radicals reminds me why I am an academic and public intellectual in the first place.”

Professor Jeremy Till, Dean of Architecture and the Built Environment, University of Westminster June 2009
